Programme Overview
The MBA programme is delivered in two stages. The first stage of the programme is an OTHM Level 7 Diploma comprising of 120 credits awarded by the Ofqual approved awarding body OTHM. Students who successfully complete the OTHM Level 7 diploma may progress onto the second stage which is the dissertation phase, where students may achieve their final 60 credits by completing a dissertation for the MBA (Masters Stage) programme offered by the University of Gloucestershire, and delivered by our strategic partner IDM.

Overview
The objective of the OTHM Level 7 Diploma qualification is to develop management and leadership skills for managers who have the authority and personal attributes to translate organisational strategy into effective operational performance.
This qualification reflects current practice in Management and Leadership and allows learners to develop and expand their high-level understanding of management and leadership in the workplace.
It is suitable for mature learners with academic or industry background, focusing on practical skills alongside theoretical fundamentals.
Entry Requirements
- Honours degree in related subject or UK Level 6 diploma or equivalent
- Mature learners with management experience (subject to approval)
- Minimum age: 21 years
- English language competency if not from a majority English-speaking country
Equivalences
The OTHM Level 7 diplomas on the RQF are equivalent to Master’s degree level. However, they are 120 credits and require completion of a 60-credit dissertation stage to achieve a full Master’s qualification.

Assessment & Award
These qualifications are awarded by OTHM and regulated by Ofqual. All units are internally assessed and externally verified.
Progression
Successful completion allows progression to Stage 2 MBA dissertation or advanced standing MBA top-up programmes in the UK and overseas.
Stage 2: MBA Dissertation
Overview
The MBA Dissertation stage allows students to complete the final 60 credits by undertaking a dissertation for the MBA (Masters Stage) programme offered by the University of Gloucestershire and delivered by IDM.

Assessment & Award
Awarded by the University of Gloucestershire. Internally assessed by IDM and externally verified by the university.
Duration & Delivery
Flexible delivery includes classroom, Zoom live lectures, tutorials, and seminars.
Progression
Successful completion leads to MBA award and progression to PhD or DBA programmes globally.
Postgraduate Level Information
Postgraduate qualifications are at RQF Level 7 and are equivalent to Master’s Degrees, Integrated Master’s Degrees, PGCE, and Postgraduate Certificates.
